Vermont Eco-Floors is operated
by Michael Frost, a native of East Dorset, Vermont. After
growing up in the family well drilling business then traveling
and competing as a member of the US Ski Team, Mike spent
10 years in the New York metropolitan area managing the maintenance
division of a large commercial flooring company.
After designing
and implementing maintenance programs for millions of square
feet of space, and observing product performance and failure,
the concept of concrete as a durable flooring system that
is both beautiful and easy to maintain drew Mike’s attention.
His systems and procedures coupled with the modification
and innovation of equipment have resulted in the development
of Vermont Eco-Floors.
One of the appealing elements of Vermont
Eco-Floors is the use of native stone, or aggregate, that
is enhanced by the polishing process. The end result is a
practical yet beautiful floor appropriate for use in both
commercial and residential settings.
Vermont Eco-Floors is a member of the Vermont Green Building
Network and the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce.
